I found some students stomping on the soil (?) at the Fuchu campus farm!
I was really curious about it, so I asked him about it, and it turned out that he was from ConnectA, an agricultural seminar (certified agricultural circle).
ConnectA's activities include growing vegetables, harvesting them, and shipping them to Yume Market (@nokoyumeichiba)!
Some of the vegetables sold at Yume Market have been grown with love by the people at ConnectA.
Today's work is to turn over the compost.
What I was trampling was not soil, but compost!
Cutting back is a process performed to ensure that the compost is evenly decomposed.
In February, I piled up dead leaves and horse manure alternately, broke it down, and piled it up in another pile.
Hakkenkouken also helps out a little bit.
It's quite a task to pile up and tamp down a large amount of compost, but when I think that this compost will make vegetables even more delicious, I'm motivated! !
ConnectA's activities can be seen on Twitter (https://twitter.com/ConnectA_tuat).
