Brand mark will change from April 2025

The English logotype, created on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the university's founding, has been used in many situations since its establishment on April 1, 2024. The abbreviation of our English name, "TUAT," has long been used in our educational and research activities and is widely recognized overseas as the name of our university. In the future, we will use the English logotype as a symbol to express our university's basic philosophy, "MORE SENSE," characteristics, and brand image, in place of our current brand mark brand mark in order to strengthen the brand image of our university as it grows into the future and to increase recognition of our university both domestically and internationally.

*Items that have already been produced using the current brand mark (envelopes, etc.) will continue to use it after April, and will be gradually replaced as soon as stock is used up.

Design Concept

The letters "A" and "T" are lined with a wing motif, symbolizing agriculture and engineering working together to grow towards the future. The green lines, which evoke the image of wind and leaves (plants), represent the natural environment, while the blue lines, which evoke the image of information transmission, chemistry and waveforms, represent the flow of the engineering department. The green and blue colors, which evoke the images of nature such as mountains, forests, seas and skies, and the dynamic design, highlight our proactive approach to the SDGs and represent our university's basic philosophy of "Mission Oriented Research and Education giving Synergy in Endeavors toward a Sustainable Earth" (MORE SENSE).
The letter "TU" is {弼 (Aitetsu-iro) (deep blue-green color), which represents the fusion of agriculture and engineering.
